In this powerful and heartfelt talk, Miss Universe Japan 2024, Kaya Chakrabortty, shares her inspiring journey of turning personal passion into purposeful impact. From competitive figure skating to neuroscience and advocacy, Kaya explores how courage and community helped her discover a mission greater than herself. Her message challenges us to take that first step—no matter how uncertain—and use our passions to create meaningful change in the world. Graduated from Michigan State University. Biracial and fluent in four languages, including English. Won two U.S. figure skating titles in high school . Qualified as a paramedic and aims to go on to medical school. Utilizing her 15+ years of volunteer experience, she advocates for children’s health and language education, and supports the growth and learning of the younger generation.
