How rejection fueled my success | Tom Kenny | TEDxLagunaBlancaSchool
Tom shares his journey of resilience following a life-altering car accident when he was young. He emphasizes how daily decisions shape our lives and the power of a positive attitude. Despite discouraging predictions from professionals, Tom achieved success, exemplified by leadership roles at Goldman Sachs and Franklin Resources, where he oversaw billions in assets. Now retired from full-time finance, he serves on corporate and non-profit boards and mentors others. Tom’s message is clear: challenges are overcome by a limitless attitude and strong support. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx.
