“We’re Condemned to be Free” explores the paradox of freedom — how the very choices that define our freedom can often become a burden. Inspired by existentialist thought, this concept challenges us to take responsibility for our decisions and confront the consequences that follow. Through real-life stories and reflections, the talk delves into the complexities of human choice and the weight of freedom. Dr. Tanu Jain, holds a Bachelor of Dentistry degree from Subharti College, and she successfully cleared the Civil Services examination in 2014. With a tenure of 7.5 years in the Armed Forces Headquarters Civil Service (AFHQ), she served as an Assistant Director in the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO). Notably, Dr. Jain commenced her preparations for the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) during her pursuit of BDS. Throughout her career, she has maintained a commitment to social service initiatives and has garnered recognition for her motivational speaking engagements, particularly renowned for her mock interview sessions. As an expert in Philosophy optional subjects and possessing a degree in law, Dr. Jain assumes the role of Founder and Director at the Tathastu Institute of Civil Services.
