In an increasingly chaotic world, looking towards history has so many answers for our contemporary lives. In this talk, Darcy Palmer discusses the importance of understanding different aspects of history, and how these can help us today. These aspects range from understanding the backgrounds of current crises, to drawing on historical parallels to learn for modern issues, and the use of historical literacy to instil media literacy. Darcy will present on the importance of understanding History in the contemporary world.
