The transition from teen to adult can be daunting, but it’s also a time when significant growth can take place. In this talk, the speaker shares how embracing challenges during adolescence shapes the path to adulthood. It’s about learning to face fears and stepping up to life’s opportunities. Meet Thet Tant Eain, or as friends call her—Rainbow, a 15-year-old student from Myanmar attending Ambassador Bilingual Academy. At TEDxUCIS Youth, she will explore The Gateway to Adulthood, shedding light on the challenges teenagers face as they transition into adulthood. Inspired by her own experiences and the anxieties of growing up, Rainbow hopes to reassure teens that these struggles shape personal growth while also encouraging adults to reflect on their own teenage years. As an active member of her school’s English club and a national speech competitor, she has honed her public speaking skills to make her message clear and impactful.
